Fyrinnae Serendipity

I recently purchased several shadows from Fyrinnae, and while I love them all, the one that stood out to me the most is the one that was sent as a free sample. This shadow is called Serendipity and is described on their site as follows:  (Formerly "Te Amo") This shade is a glowing iridescent copper highlight, almost ghostly, despite how photos make it appear. A sticky base makes more color come though, but it works well and "glows" over regular primers. Depth of hue may appear to vary slightly due to translucent dark base.  

I absolutely love it! It is warm, and glowy and so different than any other shadow I own.  It has such a beautiful coppery aura to it while still being a very work appropriate neutral.  I paired it with some warm, matte browns for a sultry and smoky eye.  This is day 2 in a row that I sported this look!

I used:

Eyes
MAC Painterly Paint pot as base all over lid
MUG Purely Naked in crease, blended and faded up towards brow bone (satiny Tan)
MUG Latte to deepen crease and outer V (matte medium brown)
MUG  Mocha to further deepen crease and along lower lashline (deep matte brown)
LA Splash glitter adhesive patted with finger onto lid below crease
Fyrinnae Serendipity patted atop adhesive on lid
MUG Shimma Shimma on inner corners (metallic champagne)
MAC Vanilla on brow bone as highlight
Physician's Formula Liquid liner on upper lashline
Maybelline Black gel liner on waterline and buffed slightly onto lower lashline
Cover Girl LashBlast Mascara

MAC Pro Longwear concealer under eyes
NYX Taupe blush as contour
Benefit Coralista Blush on cheeks
Rimmel Eastend snob liner all over lips topped with NYX Beige gloss

Unexpected Twilight

The weather is just glorious, I have the day off.... it doesn't get better than this!   Today's look involves some taupe-y mauve-y shades and a bit of glitter!

Eyes
Coastal Scents Shadow Worx eyeshadow primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadow in Tough as Taupe applied with finger to lid from lashes to just below crease
MUG Twilight patted on top of Tough as Taupe (twilight is a pale shimmery muted mauvey pruple)
MUG Unexpected to crease and as blender/transition color (matte pale pink brown)
MUG Corrupt in outer V and along lower lashline (matte black)
MUG Shimma Shimma inner eye (pale metallic champagne)
Barry M Glitter dust in #15 patted lightly on lid for some sparkle (white gold reflects glitter)

Cheeks are MAC Warm Soul, Lips are Rimmel Airy Fairy

MUG Appletini

Hello All!


Two green looks in a row!   Makeup Geek's Appletini is a lovely shade, and like all of the shadows I've tried from MUG, it is both creamy and highly pigmented.   In fact, today's look uses all MUG shadows, I was inspired to bring out my MUG palette because I ordered a few more shadows this weekend- excited to try them out!!

MUG Appletini from lashline just up to crease (shimmery apple green with flecks of gold)
MUG Purely Naked in crease (shimmery tan)
MUG Bada Bing in outer V and along lower lashline (deep brown with flecks of gold)

MUG Vanilla Bean on brow bone (matte cream)

EEK!  And a miserable full face, its the best I got- shoulda put on some lippie!

MAC Violet Pigment

Violet pigment might have been one of my very first MAC purchases ever.  I loved it back then and though I have not used it in ages, I still love it to bits.  My boyfriend even complimented my eyeshadow, and while he compliments me often- he never comments on a particular shade of eyeshadow.  Here is a pretty purple look, one amongst the many purple looks I have done, as I simply adore purple!
