Aromaleigh Ravenstag

When I first saw this color swatched, I knew I must have it.  Ravenstag is a gorgeous and complex deep charcoal with multi-colored shimmer of green, violet, and teal.  Pretty much every color I just adore embedded in a gorgeous smoky base.  This is the type of shade that will lean a certain way depending on what color you pair it with; not unlike eyes that change from blue to green depending on your shirt or shadow that day.   In this look, I paired it with purple so it really complimented the green sparks in this shade.   If paired with a green or teal, it would probably appear more violet.

Obligatory St Paddy's Day Green!

Though I didn't initially intend on the green, it is how it ended up.  I wanted to use Aromaleigh's Yael from the new Ignis Antiquita collection, and once I applied it slightly foiled to my lid- I knew that a matte green in the outer corners would contrast nicely.  The subtle green sparks in this warm gold shadow just cried out for some green, and I made it so.  My newest sample order from Aromaleigh contains some real beauties that I can't wait to use!

Long Time No Post Smokey Eye

Hello!!

I have been MIA for a but, life just gets crazy sometimes!  I'm planning my little girl's 3rd birthday- it amazes me how time has flown!  I'm also doing a few projects around the house, including painting my dining room.  My dining room has been a plain white box since buying my house a year ago, and I'm trying to bring it to life a bit.  I repainted the existing chandeliers to modernize them, and added an accent wall of wallpaper.  Maybe I will post some before and afters soon, just working on painting the trim and finishing up some lose ends!  Most of the work happens when the LO goes to sleep at night.

Today's look uses an old favorite of mine from Aromaleigh- Myrtha.  I'm fairly certain I have posted a look using this before, but here it is again anyway :)
