MAC Violet Pigment

Violet pigment might have been one of my very first MAC purchases ever.  I loved it back then and though I have not used it in ages, I still love it to bits.  My boyfriend even complimented my eyeshadow, and while he compliments me often- he never comments on a particular shade of eyeshadow.  Here is a pretty purple look, one amongst the many purple looks I have done, as I simply adore purple!

Face
Bare Escentuals Foundation, fairly light
NYX Taupe blush, contour
MAC Warm Soul on cheeks
Rimmel Airy Fairy on lips

Eyes
MAC painterly PP as base
MAC  Violet pigmented patted all over lower lids
MAC Espresso on outer corners and into crease
MUG Corrupt (matte black) on outer corners
NYX Taupe in crease and to blend out darker colors
Rimmel White Kohl liner on tear duct area
Aromaleigh Sprite Pink Patted on top of white liner
Physician's Formula Liquid liner

Naked 2 Palette + MUFE Purple Smokiness

Hello!!

I have promised myself to get more use out of my Naked palettes- I don't know why they get neglected as the shadows are gorgeous and fantastic quality.  Today I used the Naked 2 palette and threw in a couple of other shadows to come up with this purple smoky look.  Also, I left out the winged liner for a very rare change as I have been doing a variation of a winged liner pretty much daily since I was about 16 years old-  that's a log time as I am no spring chicken ;)   Speaking of which, tomorrow is my B-day and I just made my very first purchase from ASOS as a little gift to myself- so excited to try out some of the clothes!!

Face
Illamasqua Skin Base in 4.5
NYX blush in Taupe to contour
NYX blush in Terracotta
Lips  some Rosebud salve

Eyes
MAC painterly PP as base
UD Blackout dabbed onto outer corners of eyes into a wedge extending from the lashline up towards the crease, then blended out with a crease brush
UD Tease to the crease and to blend out the black a bit
UD Verve patted all over lid to just below crease
MUFE #92 patted on the outer half of the lid blended in to the black and over the Verve
UD Snakebite on lower lashline
UD  Foxy on browbone
UD Foxy and Bootycall to inner V
Aromaleigh Sprite Pink patted on top of the UD shades on the inner V
Physician's Formula liquid liner, applied thinly on upper lashline
Rimmel waterproof kohl liner in black to tightline and to waterline

Inglot Teal, Green and Blue

Hello!

This is one of those looks that just wouldn't photograph well.  I quite like it in person, and I dcided to share anyway.

I used

Face
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light
NYX Terracotta Blush (applied sparingly as this can overpower on light skin) This is a bronzey apricot that really warms up the face
NYX Extreme Lip Cream in Pinky Nude (so not a nude shade!!)

Eyes
NYX White eyeshadow base
NYX Barely There on the inner corners
Inglot DS 477 Bright Lime Green next on lid
Inglot DS 504 Teal next
Inglot DS 483 Navy blue to deepen outer corners
All colors repeated on lower lashline
Physcian Formula liquid liner
Cheapie Ebay Falsies

Thanks for looking!

MAC Patina Simple Eye

Hello

MAC Patina is described as a taupe brown with golden pearl.  It is a lovely and very subtle color but has such depth that can really hold its own for a beautiful simple eye look.  Today I swiped Patina all over the lid and used just a bit of of embark to deepen the outer corners.

NYX Golden Bronze is similar but is a bit deeper and more olive.

NYX Antique Gold is closer but a bit more yellow gold.

I think either would work beautifully in a similar look.  In fact I have done an Antique Gold look here:

Today's Look:

Eyes
MAC Paintery all over lid space as base
MAC Patina patted all over lid and blended up into crease
MAC Embark lightly on outer edges of eyes and blended out to soften
Ben Nye Toast on brow bone
Physicians Formula liquid liner
Some cheapie green liner on waterline which isn't showing up too well
Benefit Bad Girl Mascara- don't think I like this as my lashes look non existent in these shots... or perhaps I just grew too used to wearing falsies and now feel inadequate without them lol

Face
Illamasqua Skin Base 3.5- purchased this initially on 4.5 but not sure about the color.  They gave me a sample of 3.5 to compare at Sephora and I think I like this better.  4.5 seems lighter and washed me out a bit.
MAC Warm Soul Blush
NYX Taupe to contour

No lipstick but I desperately need some in the full face pic

And... because I got bored... I added some DS 477 from Inglot and UD Graffiti onto the lower lashline and waterline atop the green liner

It has been almost a year...

Hello to anyone who might still be following :)

Well here is an eye look I created today, first time in forever that I have used color.  I have been loving neutrals lately- specifically warm and smokey browns!  This is a look which shows just how much I can't wait for the weather to be warm again!!

NYX White eyeshadow base
MAC Vanilla all over lid- to ensure easy blending
MUFE #92- in crease
MUG Unexpected to blend out that crazy purple
MAC Vanilla on brow bone
Inglot- not sure of the # as it is stuck in my palette- it is a DS that is a very light peachy pink- on inner most corners of lid
NYX Dolly Pink next to the inglot
NYX Hot Pink next t that
MAC Passionate to blend into outer corners between the purple and the other pink
Black Liquid Liner
Black Mascara
Some cheapie Falsies from Ebay
