Hello!
It has been forever, I know, and my posting has become more and more sporadic. I have been very boring with makeup lately, and have kinda been on a purchasing hiatus. I did however, finally purchase MAC Face and Body foundation and am using it today for the first time. I really like the way it photographs and am quite pleased with the natural/satin finish.... quite nice. I purchased it in C2 and while at first I thought it might be the slightest bit dark for me, I actually quite like it once applied and set. It is sheer but buildable, and a very thin consistency. It is my first time using it, and I will need a few days to really decide if I love it or not.
Today's look uses MAC pigments of which I have many, many samples but find myself ignoring them. Here is a smokey-ish green look with a sharp outer V.
The colors are a bit deeper IRL :)
Face:
MAC Face and Body Foundation- C2
MAC MSF Natural to set
NYX Taupe blush- contour
Benefit Coralista- cheeks
NYX gloss in Natural- lips
Eyes:
UDPP to prime
L'oreal HIP cream shadow pencil- Authentic as base on lid, blended to just above crease (dark green)
MAC Chartreuse pigment on inner 1/3 of lids (shimmery yellow green)
MAC Emerald Green pigment on outer 2/3 of lids (shimmer true emerald green)
MAC Dark Soul pigment on outer V (soft black with shimmer and glitter)
MAC Soft Brown Sahdow- crease. to soften edges of color (peachy light brown)

ReplyDeleteSo glad you're back! I was a little bit worried but didn't want to be a stalker so I waited in the dark for your come back (hum , that sounds like a psycho stalker now !)
ReplyDeleteI tend to be sticking to neutrals at the moment too so not much to post (a slight addiction to Wetn'Wild vanity may be ?)
Who said no green e/s on green eyes ??? That is such a stupid statement !
I 'be very interested in knowing your opinion on the Mac face and body on the long haul : I tried Nars sheer glow and was so disappointed....
